When the child was a child
It walked with its arms swinging
It wanted the stream to be a river
The river a torrent
And this puddle to be the sea. When the child was a child
It didn’t know it was a child
Everything was full of life, and all life was one.Lied vom Kindsein

Everyone has it.
The young have it and the younger.
The very youngest have it.
Everyone is born with it.
Creative genius.
As natural to the human body as breathing itself.
Everyone is born a creative genius.
It is the world and its lumps and bumps and bruises that shake us down and convince us otherwise. But each of us has the talent to create a unique gift, something that no one else can even imagine. We do. We just forget sometimes.
Fear rushes forward to blind our eyes from the wonder we knew in childhood. When a simple fallen branch morphed into the warrior’s sword as we raced off to rescue the princess from the evil queen’s castle. All things were possible.
Fear multiplies as we move further from those days of youth. The voices of career and responsibility caution the child in us to grow up and be practical. To put aside childish ways and thoughts. And then we stop believing in the magic of puddles-turned-into-oceans.
Let’s embark on a journey to reawaken that spirit in you. You are invited to see with fresh eyes and to rediscover what has been hiding deep inside all along… your creative genius.
Because everything is full of life.
And all life is one.
